Members of the Performing Arts Club spent time cleaning up Schiller Park in collaboration with Keep Columbus Beautiful.


Students in the Design early college program wrapped up an ambitious project - 3D printing 775 toys for Toys for Tots. It was their contribution to a larger effort hosted by local 3D printing company IC3D to make 50,000 toys nationwide.



Metro Schools has just been made aware that there will be road closures impacting our building as of 1:30pm today due to a visit by Vice President Harris to the Plumbers & Pipefitters Union on Kinnear Road. In order to accommodate, our dismissal time will be moved 12pm. Families should have received an email notice with additional details.

It's Science! This week, students in the Bodies early college program learned about diagnostic skills while participating in a Urinalysis lab and 6th grade students in Mrs. J's class watched Arizona State University's Tomorrow Talks featuring Jane Goodall.



Spirit Week fun continues with Twin Day in the middle school and Culture Day in the high school.



H.S. staff joined in the fun of Spirit Week during Twin Day, Decades Day and Wellness (workout gear) Day!

Metro's National Honor Society sponsored an early morning "Senior Sunrise" gathering on the OSU Oval for members of the class of 2022.


Mrs. Linik's Algebra 1 students used an unusual strategy - a game of Tic-Tac-Toe - to prepare for a test.


Eric Caldwell of XPO Logistics spoke to 6th graders in Ms. Tugend's Regions & People class about current supply chain challenges and their impact. Students will use the information to identify and create a solution for a supply chain problem.


U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty and Battelle CEO Lou Von Thaer visited Metro and heard about the exciting work our students are doing. Superintendent Pace presented Beatty with a special recognition for her support of STEM education in Ohio.





Students in Metro's Coding Club learned about cryptography from guest speaker Monica Carrillo-Delgado. Thanks to Dr. Chris Orban from Ohio State for this special treat! @STEMcoding, @bamm_osu



Students from Metro’s All Natural Performing Arts Club spent time clearing litter at Nafzger park on Saturday as part of the Keep Columbus Beautiful program.
