What is Schoology?
Teachers use Schoology to post classroom materials online, provide a safe forum for students to discuss their ideas and collaborate on projects, and to assign and collect school work electronically. It helps students stay organized, keeps the class connected, and makes it easy for parents to stay involved in their children’s education..
Students and parents each have their own accounts for Schoology. A Schoology parent account gives you access to:
The classes your child is enrolled in each semester
Your child’s upcoming assignments
School and class announcements
Parent Instructions to Sign Up for a Schoology Account for the First Time
Click on Parent
Enter the 12-digit Access Code provided by the school
Click Continue
Fill out the registration information
Once logged in, click on your name in the upper right corner
Select your student to see their Schoology information
To add another Metro student, click on your name, select Add a Child and enter the access code for that student (provided by the school).
To Add Additional Children
Login to https://themetroschool.schoology.com
Click on your name in the upper right corner
Select Add a Child and enter the access code for that student (provided by the school).
Account Login
Once you set up an account, you can log in at https://themetroschool.schoology.com
Forgotten Passwords
Parents and students can use the same instructions for forgotten passwords.
