Metro is offering female students the chance to take part in "Rock The Street, Wall Street" (RTSWS) this spring! RTSWS is a financial and investment literacy program designed to spark the interest of a diverse population of high school girls into careers in finance. The program is facilitated by local female financial professionals who will join students in the classroom.
We are recruiting now for the RTSWS Spring Mentorship component at Metro High School. This consists of five 1-hour sessions (roughly 1x/month), where your child will learn about personal and professional development, goal setting, interview skills, stock market analysis and social media etiquette.
Participants will be offered guidance on high school and college course selection, will create resumes, build a LinkedIn profile, and apply business skills to real world situations. The goal is to encourage women to become financially literate, independent and equally represented in the field of finance.
Deadline to sign up for the Spring Mentorship is January 20.
You may contact the RTSWS Team directly with any questions: https://rockthestreetwallstreet.com/contact-us-2/.
Students can register directly via the Rock The Street, Wall Street app. Be sure to indicate Metro as the school of attendance.
